i think people shoudl get paid what the peoplke who are paying them think they are worth. and if someone os the best at what they do, they will find someone who will pay them well regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. if not, it's their loss because their competitor will have an edge on them because the competitor DID hire that person (who happens to be the best)

Equal rights does not mean everyone get's paid the same. The only system that advocates that is communism--which denies any rights to anyone.
Equal rights means that everyone is entitled to equal treatment under the law, first. In addition it means (in the economic sense) that people are judged/paid according to the same standards. For example, a person woud be hired--and paid--based ontheir skills and the quality of their work, not on the basis of race, gender, or some other standard not related to their job performance.
It does NOT, however, making allowances for circumstances beyond the individual's control. For example, a person who grew up in circumstances, or is subject to stereotyping, and so has an educational deficit, can legitimately be given a chance to prove their ability, even though they might lack some qualifications "on paper" due to those circumstances.
In short, it means everyone is treated according to the same set of rules (standards) and has an equal opportunnity. Equal rights does NOT mean getting equal results, as your question suggests.

Your example is not equal rights, that is communism. Equal rights is everybody who is qualified getting a fairshake. Equal rights means eveyone can vote. What would be the incentive to be a professional anything if you would only make as much as the gutter sweeper? Look how far communism has gotten Russia, and Cuba, and Poland to name a few. You cant be serious.

You are not describing equal rights. You are describing equal outcomes. In the US we all have the same rights and opportunities.
Our outcomes depend on our abilities, ideas, willingness to work.
