Ok so this is the deal. About a year ago we hired a contractor to replace our bathtub with a jacuzzi tub. Well the guy was a douche and he installed the tub but didn't do a great job. At first the caulk was separating from the tub, so he came back to fix it. But now every time I step on the bathroom floor it squeaks. It doesn't matter where I step, in the tub, or just walking in the door the tub makes a god awful squeaking sound. And let's just say that it is making me crazy. How can I go about fixing this? Is there a way to fix it at all? I am not sure if the tub even fits, or perhaps is rubbing against the tile to create this sound. But I would really like to know if it is something I can fix myself, perhaps remove the caulk and add some shims. Any suggestions from guys in the business?
Thanks!

It is not the floor, it is the tub. When I step on the floor, the tub moves and causes the squeaking.

Once again I will repeat that the floor does not squeak. IT IS THE TUB! When you walk, you can hear the tub move and squeak because it wasn't put in properly. Thus I want to know how to fix the tub and make it stop squeaking. So please do not bother to reply if you are going to tell me it is the floor and not give a suggestion on how to fix the tub.

Is there a panal to take loose to look undr the tub? If so then just look under when someone else steps and look for your sqeek. Then should not be hard for you to decide if it needs a shim or a shave to get it to stop. If not sure post again with what you find. If you do not have an access panal it makes this harder.

either ur floor under tile etc maybe its partical board, has warped or ur main beams, either way something is not tight or its arched, not solid it may also be ur tub not setting even ,as u put weight on one area it moves toanother area (the weight). bottom line ur not solid or flat!
