*raises hand*
I do, but I pay rent, and help out around the house, and my mother is GRATEFUL that I am here to help her with my ailing father, and help her stay sane in taking care of my ailing father. Plus she loves having two of her 3 grandkids around every day.
This situation will be changing really soon, as I'm getting married in about 2 months.

The answer would depend on the situation. I know of some 'children' that live with their parents all their lives, either due to an illness or due to accident or some other problem. My two youngest are 27 and 24 and they both live at home but that is due to the cost of living in Northern Virginia. For the price they would have to pay for rent they could buy a house (or nearly so). The current house price adjustment phase we are now seeing is the market right-pricing itself as house prices are unreal. I do understand that everyone wants their house values go up so that when they sell they will have a nice nest egg to draw from in their retirement years. The problem is that if no one can afford to buy you will never sell your house. This also applies to apartments, Condos, etc.
So you see the answer you are looking for is not all that simple. The trend is for children to leave home after High school, after college, or goining off to the Military.

I know quite a few, though I'm glad I am not one of them.
England is a pretty expensive place to live if you are single, so staying with the parents is an increasingly attractive option. And for good reason. Free food, free laundry service and a cuppa waiting when you get home from work, I sometimes think about going back lol.
But it has its drawbacks. Parents are always nosey, no matter how old you are.
The man next door is SIXTY and lives with his mum. I know a 40 year old too who lives with his mother!

I know a lot but it's not still live with but rather have returned.
Some have returned to help their parents, some have had bad luck and have returned to save money and some have come back because of broken marriages and need some recuperation time. In this day and age it's not that uncommom. It's expensive to live on your own and if you go to University/college, you can end up so far in debt before you even get your first good job.

In Italy they stay home till they turn almost 40 ! Life is getting expensive everywhere I guess and mothers surely don't mind to have "mommy's boy" until they can ! It's funny though, I have a 6 year old boy and honestly, I have no idea if I could be one of those moms.....!!!
But to answer your question, I don't know anyone personally myself !
