Mark S is correct but there is more. This chromosome is circular. There are also smaller circular DNAs that sometimes inhabit bacteria cells called plasmids. Plasmids remain intact in the cell as long as they provide some benefit such as antibiotic resistance

A bacteria, such as E. coli, has it's entire genetic makeup arranged into one circular chromosome. Chromotids are structures composed of protein and DNA and are associated with Eukaryotic cells. Bacteria are prokaryotes and don't have them.
