Give them away. When we keep things and tend to say, I will be able to get back into them, then we usually never do.
It is better to give clothes away that you haven't worn in a year also. It is freeing to do this. Every time my roommate buys clothes, she gives some old clothes away. Better for her as she is into fen shu or however you say it. Freeing up clutter that is not needed or worn in a while.

Most fashionistas would reccomend that you withdrawl items from your closet if you have not worn them in the last year. Aside from specialty items like ugly brides maid dresses that you may somehow need in the future and expensive shoes that hurt when you wear them but look so cute you can't bear to part with them, everything else has a shelf life and you should respect that if you are fashionably conscious. Of course in your case it sounds like maybe you could slim back down to the size you were when you bought them so... if they are super cute why not get out there and trim a few lbs, maybe after Thanksgiving and reward youself with clothes you thought you had to do without.

Well that all depends. Sometimes our clothing make us a part of who we are. If you are willing to let your guard down and loose a little bit of your independence then yes; you should get rid of them quickly. Although, if there is a sentimental attachment to them then no; put them into a "KEEP SAFE" box and never look at them again. You will always know that they are there, and a few years down the road, you will thank me.

If you are trying to lose weight--keep em!
If you just don't want them anymore--take them to a local charity, or save them for a cloth drive for Christmas, so someone else can look fabu in those jeans and pants!

Did you just grow or did you gain weight?
If you just gained weight, you should hang onto them in case you lose the weight again.
However, if you are still young and you're growing, then you may as well tell them goodbye!
If they are nicer name brands, trying selling them at a Plato's Closet. You can check their website at http://www.platoscloset.com . You could also sell them on Ebay.
Or, if they are in bad shape, don't just throw them away! Donate them to Goodwill or other thrift stores, or even a clothes closet.
Good luck!

I'm in the same boat as you. I've kept the smaller jeans that I really loved when I could fit in them, because I hope to fit in them again someday soon, & I donated the rest.
