youre vision starts to turn into tunnel vision, and everything starts fading. it kind of feels like you fall asleep..you forget where you are for a second and what happened. its definately scary!

i was about... 10, 11 years old. i forgot. it happened such a long time ago. i was active on tracks and had a heats trial for an inter-school competition.

the thing is, i'm a 100m sprinter, not a 200m sprinter. but my coach wanted me to just give it a shot. it was about 10am, the sun was just rising, my stomach was empty, and we waited a long while under the sun before it was our turn to run.

i was almost reaching the finishing line when my legs gave way and i couldn't move my body. really, i was disappointed because i was competing with a fast and strong competitor and i was leading. i got disqualified because i crashed at the freaking finishing line and never dared to try for inter-school competition anymore.

i felt i was only good enough to compete within my schoolmates.

Very close, taking med to lower blood pressure, and getting in shape so blood pressure was naturally lowering, the combination gave me several spells of... oh boy, I gotta sit down before I fall down. Never actually took the plunge though, I can see it would be scary.

I've fained twice. Once I had so much stress. I drove to the doctor and when they called me in, I fainted.Another time I had stitches from a work related accident. It was time to take the stitches out and while on the table watching I fainted.I was on the table for two hours recovering.

Once in 5th grade during sex ed (I still haven't finished learning about that - I'm so naive!)

Second time when I had a cold in like 12th grade and I had just gotten done going to the bathroom, woke up on the floor partially exposed.

not me, but once in high school there was a girl who was being really nasty to me all day long. After school, as soon as I walked out of the building, she turned and gave me a really dirty look then passed out right down the concrete steps that she was standing on! I guess SHE fainted.

I did in Walmart. I was 7 months pregnant with my son and i didn't eat anything all day long and I was anemic and my daughter was just checked out of the hospital and everything hit me at once. It was deathly scary. I thought I lost my son

i blacked out in 4th grade because i was doing a choir thing, and we were in a TV studio, and i was wearing my school sweatshirt and it got really hot from all the lights and standing bunched together with all these other kids. i guess my knees were locked so i wasn't getting enough blood flow.

it was really scary though, because the people around me heard me breathing loud and started saying "are you okay" and everything got blurry for me and i almost collapsed but someone caught me.

Yep. It wuz in church....i felt like i wuz gonna throw up...then evrything got really blurry,then i kinda remember sitting down then nothing.My mom says i got all pale&wuz sweating. Wen i "woke up" there were all these ppl around me...we happend g2 the mass w/ all da paramedics&nurses & stuff. My mom thinks it because i waz really tired and hadnt eaten.

No, but my fiance did. The EMT said it was a lack of blood flow to his brain when he first awakened, got out of bed and stood up immediately afterward.
