This is pretty interesting. I think she did have extremely poor judgement. Do you think she should lose her opportunity for this big promotion..?
I personally think this blew it for her. Someone like this should NOT be in such a high profile position - just my own humble opinion.

The whole thing is petty and does not deserve the time given it in the media. The sad part is that anyone would be offended by this. Those who seemed to be offended are the ones who are racist! Those who gave it no thought one way or the other are not the racist ones. People need to learn to accept life as it is and get off the petty things that make their life and those around them so miserable.

It may have been poor judgement, but I think people are taking this far too seriously. It was halloween and it was a costume. Lighten up.

Maybe we should remove Teddy Kennedy for being a drunken driver that killed someone ? Sounds like he did a worse thing than she did ,...hmmmmm?

I don't know if it's racist but if she was not smart enough to know that that's how it would be seen,then I would have to question her promotion to that post. Bottom line is she should have known better.

It wasn't racist, but tasteless. I don't think she should lose her position, but she doubtless will.
It's annoying to have to pretend that there isn't a significant population of American prisoners who a) aren't African American, b) don't have repulsive dreadlocks and c) aren't wearing prison issue uniforms.
Bad taste and bad judgment, that's all.
