a cake. with her birthday being on a holiday she needs to feel that her birthday is JUST as important as the holiday in question. and since pumkin pie is part of THANKSGIVING, she should have a cake just as everyone else does on their b-day

Cake
As a person with a birthday at Christmas time, I can't tell you how much appreciate birthday gifts wrapped in birthday paper instead of Christmas paper, birthday cards instead of "Happy Birthday" written on a Christmas card, and non-holiday themed cakes.
