Just curious. In America, high alcohol tolerance is frowned.

I heard that men who have low tolerance in alcohol are not considered manly in some cultures around the world. Is this true? If so, why?

This is actually true in most cultures. Mexico is a prime example. in almost all business situations, Large amounts of alcohol are consumed and the peoples response to the booze is a definite consideration in whether the person gets the business or not.
