Short of the usual illegal methods, there are also any number of ways that involve begging a finacial institution for a loan.
Other than that, you can work a second job, or overtime in your current job.
Sell belongings you no longer need, etc.
It kind of depends on what your situation is, how badly you need the cash, and what you need it for.
Just remember, that borrowing the cash generally puts you in a worse situation than you are now.
