Buchanan would be a good choice, I think. It would REALLY drive the liberals nuts, to have to consider the issues in the context of the Constitution, capitalism, individual freedom.
Ron is more libertarian, though and Pat is more traditional conservative, but they agree on many basic issues.

Only if he wanted to absolutely, positively guarantee that he'd lose the election.
Mr. Paul would be a dark horse indeed if he won the Republican nomination. His chances even against a turnip nominiated by the Democratic party would not be good. With Pat Buchanan as a running mate he would seal the greatest Democratic landslide victory in history, easily eclipsing Nixon's 49 state advantage in 1972.

No. He wants to, and the country needs, to get away from reglious fanatics dictating how you and I live our lives, telling us what we can and can't do with our bodies, what we should and should not think with our brains, and what we should and shouldn't study in public schools. To see the harms caused by religious fanatics, one need only look at Iran.
