I know lots of adults that started young (about 11-12... and they are now 50...) But there was not as much "taboo" about smoking then (it seems completely ludricus for a baby to be smoking at 3 months... that fact REALLY bothers me) Smoking was every where in the 70's and earlier... old game shows had people smoking while playing the game our leading the game... it was ok to smoke in resturants. Now they realize smoking really does have health issues and you no longer can do those things. I think it is comepletly abusive to have a 3 month old smoking... and also encouraging a younger child to do it. Of course children may become curious about smoking... but everyone I know that started smoking at a young age has not quit... its harder the longer you do it. Any addiction is harder to quit the more you do it. It is awful by todays standards because tons of money has gone into research about the health risks of smoking. A child is just that... a child and needs a real parents and grown up to stop them from making bad choices.
