Do you think society would be much better without it? Do you think that the government should supply basic resources to everyone? That way we can focus on what is really important and we know we will be treated equally. Money is corrupt and even after millions, people still want more. If we eliminate it, would everyone be much better off?

Those who don't work will go to prison because it will be illegal to not work. The resources will be made from the people who are working. And everyone who can work will get a job. No discrimination.

Well I can tell you this America does not have any real money at all.Our currency is backed by gold and silver and they have printed allot more paper than we have gold or silver. Have you not noticed that all vendors now want you to use credit cards. Our country is in more debt than ever.So go and be happy live with in your means as the rich will stay that way and the rest of us will stay as we are.The people that are still chasing money will die of a heart attack before they get rich.

Money (an inanimate object) is not capable of corruption. Money is a tool...an abstraction representing an agreed upon value for the purpose of facilitating commerce between people of good faith. LOVE of money leads to corruption.
Some people just have a proclivity towards corruption...and I guarantee you that if somehow we thrived without money and all our social needs were taken care of from the cradle to the grave, mankind would just find something else to corrupt itself with.

I understand your question and wont be like the others whom arebeing Jack@asses.Money came about from the barter system.Work for goods/trading etc for items we need.Eventually precious metals came to be used for currency, then it was pressed into coins. This stopped the barter/trading practice, because the gold in the coins had worth,or the represantation thereof.Eventually paper money came into play,at one time being backed by gold it represented.People are greedy, they always want more, whether theres money or not,no matter what the object is,if they like it they want more.Money is a tool, taken for granted it is lost.Used wisely it is a source for goods. But like the history, before money people still traded and bartered, hoarded, and still wanted more.

Maybe we don't maybe we would be better off without it, but that is too much for many people to even imagine, most people are stuck on the notion that capitalism is the only system that works, because the capitalists told them so, and have attacked every system that wasn't capitalist.
An example of a society without money :-

No. Not everyone works equally so not everyone deserves the same things. If someone is struggling, we can help them out but otherwise no, people should work for what they have.

Read your history about the Soviet Union. It didn't work for them, it won't work for us.
It really is that simple.
Unfortunately, so many people don't understand world history, that I'm afraid to say that we will probably repeat those mistakes of the past...

Money is just a handy thing.
I do stuff and get money; I give the money to other people for stuff.
I'm pretty radical, but your proposal is too radical for me.
What we need is a rational distribution of money. People who do stuff should be paid accordingly, instead of all the profit of their work going to the people with all the money.
