It's dependent on your laptop and your operating system. If you're running Windows XP, you'll be fine with 512M Ram. It might be a little slow, but you'll be completely fine. If you have Windows Vista, you should get at least 1Gb memory. If you have a MAC 1Gb is good enough. Double check on the memory website to see how much memory you can put onto your system. You can check http://www.memory.com and select your system.

If you're talking about hardrive space, most laptops come with 60GB+ which is plenty as long as you don't plan on playing a ton of games or storing a ton of videos.

2 weeks worth of continuous music adds up to about 20GB, so 60+ is fine.

If you're talking about RAM then like the others said, 2gb for vista, 1 for XP.

If you plan on playing games though, get 2GB for xp and 3GB for vista. You'll also want a good video card and a decent cpu if you want to play newer games.

In RAM 2GBs should do the trick. For your HD 120 is a good standard, goes up to 250+.

Hi. One GB is usually enough, but two GB is becoming the standard.

Minimum suggested depending on your operating system. Obviously the more the better.

Vista - 2GB
XP - 1GB
