ok, so ive been a totally nerdy tom boy like my whole life until college. Im a design art major now, and dating my amazing boyfriend who is a total hollister boy. My whole life throughout highschool and everything I've secretly been into fashion, and had alot of people tell me I should try out modeling. So I started dating my bf and decided that now would be as good a time as ever to embrace what I've always wanted to be. So I started dressing preppy, cut my hair and styled and highlighted it, and I wear makeup and europeon fashion everywhere I go. I LOVE it. But my friends back home think Im this totally new person, and many have disowned me. Im still me! My personality is the same... I could never be the sorority girls around here. BUT my friends back home are gothic, and really nerdy.. my best friend disowned me and hates me because of my "preppy" change. She blames it on my bf. Should I say screw it, and stay how I am? Or try and keep my friends and go back to my old ways

Stay the way you are. You finally get to embrace the new you and you love it. If they can't except that then they're not worth it.

stay the way you are. my ideal true friend is one who knows all about you but likes you anyway for it. You shouldnt let her be the barrier to opening who you wanna be or if that doesnt work then try to dress a little different and not that preppy when you see her.

Well I honestly think that you should do what makes you happy. If they were your true friends to start with, they would accept you the way you are now. They should be happy that you're happy. I bet u look cute and I'm sure your boyfriend loves it, which is what matters isn't it???!!!!

You have your on life away from home with your man, not your homegirls. Live your life however suits you comfortably.. If your friend aint acceptin you first all then what kinda friends are they.. the ones worth keepin?b happy with u and ur man

If you like how you are and they dont then they arent your friends. They are looking at you with shallow eyes. Why do you want shallow friends? People who know the real you and look deeper, those are friends. I vote stay how you want to be.
