Is this the REAL DEAL?

Question

i met this guy a yr ago in Floorida we were both there to be warm and getting out of bad relationships. He came to visit me and drove 2 days to get here. My son(grown) was in the next room we slept in the same bed but nothing happened. We have hugged but never kissed. How can you tell if this will always be platonic or more. He has mentioned buying a home in my state and knows no one but me and my family here. I have met his parents and he has met mine. I have never been in a relationship like this. We are both in our 40s and have a tremendous amount of respect for the other. But come on sleeping in the same bed and not even so much as a kiss. Is he just not into me or waiting for me to make the first move. That is just not me making the first move. When he left he said he wanted me to keep guessing, what is that

That is most unusual. Most guys and gals .. can't help themselvs .. especially when in bed together .. and both single.

Some men lose their ability early in life. There could be many reasons "why". For example .. having diabets - and taking diabetes medications .. and/or high blood-pressure medications will alter their sexual ability. Also - many other reasons come into play.

He might can sense that you are eager & wondering. And .. truth is .. you ARE wondering.

It might be wise to play the "waiting-game" a while longer.
"YOU" ... be the mysterious one. Don't give him any 'come-hither' signals .. at all. In fact - kinda act like you don't have it on your mind .. and may NOT at all!! Get HIM to be the one guessing !! It seems that he knows SOMETHING is going on .. by him giving you th remark he wants to keep you guessing ... hmmm ... could that just be an excuse for him?

It's a shame that you have to play this game .. but it also seems that he is playing some sort of game .. even if it is the possible truth that he may be impotent.

With given time - and you get tired of the game - and you get tired of waiting .. and if you never discover what the problem is ... one day, simpley ask him. You are the one who knows what you want .. what you don't want .. and how you want to live your life. This may be important to you.

Don't let him frustrate you too much with his evasiveness ... just become uniterested in him .. and see what his reaction is.

How about that maybe he wants to take things slow. It doesn't mean he's gay. Just wait it out and continue being friends and let the relationship develop along the way. You can't rush love. At least he has enough respect for you and your grown child in your home.

maybe because he was getting out of a relationship also he is nerves about starting a new one. if he drove two days to see you he likes you. you should talk to him about it. maybe he wants to know you feel the same way he does. you could make the first move i did and my husband loves to tell the story.
