Which would you rather be?
I'd prefer to be Deaf, that way I can still see what's going on around me, and you can also use sign language, whereas braille isn't everywhere around you.

I would MUCH rather be Deaf. Deaf you can still get around almost normally, just having to pay a little more attention to your surroundings. Blind you couldn't drive, watch tv, use the computer, go on nature walks, any of that good stuff
So I would rather be Deaf.

If I had to be either of those two I would rather be deaf then blind as with being deaf you don't miss out on people insulting you although if you aren't paying attention you could end up getting hit by a car or something God forbid as you can't hear someone telling you to watch out. And I would be able to see. But I would prefer to keep those two senses definitely.

I agree. My grandmother is Deaf, so I have thought about this often. She can still basically function without needing assistance. If I was blind I would not be able to drive, watch tv, read most books, and travel without assistance.

Yes I to would choose to be deaf, I have A friend who is
blind and sometimes has A hard time but for the most of
it he can go out and take care of himself he is A really
great person !!

Deaf to. i couldn't imagine not seeing my bf or future children's faces i think that's so precious to see them smile. also id feel better walking through the streets and the things you said also about Braille (its hardly anywhere here)
