Irony-
An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning.
A literary style employing such contrasts for humorous or rhetorical effect.
Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs

Not ironic in any way. Its completely expected. People that are for the Iraq war are full of hatred. A strong desire for revenge is also common.

I have many friends that are Muslims & I support the war. The choice of going to war may have some questions about. Once in we have to give the Iraqi people the probability of a long-term better life than they previously had or the 1st world economies are worse off & global warning would be exacerbated.

How would that be ironic? Irony is the opposite of what you expected to happen. So you think just because a person supports the Iraq war they're anti-Muslim? Does that make liberals Muslim lovers? This is what contributes to the mindset that there is bigotry against Muslims in this country.

Muslim extremists. Those of us who have actually served in the military have to laugh at the remarks saying "if conservatives are in favor of the war why arent' they over there fighting?" Saying childish things like that are the reason that most adults don't take liberal critics seriously.

Yes, I find it ironic. And I find it more ironic that at least some of those who supported war in Yugoslavia and the former Yugoslavia hate Muslims. I also find it ironic that those who bombed, or supported the bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade-on behalf of Islamo Fascists-claim that the US is a state which is "more Christian then China" and call people other then themselves "Islamo Fascists".

Not at all. The people who support this war do so at least in part because they are religious bigots. All you have to do is listen to them--they are only frustrated that they have been unable to topple the ruel of law here at home so they can openly persecute the millions of Americans who happen to be Muslims.

One interesting pattern--lok at how often they try to lavel Barack Obama as a Mslim. These unAmerican rednecks (and they are; religious bigotry is contrary to everything this country stands for) assume that other Americans are as filled with hatred as they are--which is not the case. Not only does no one believe them, all these trash are doing is discrediting themselves!

I dont know if thats true or Ironic but I can say that the terrorists and Insurgents are Muslims but not all Muslims are terrorists and Insurgents

No.

I think this is a bad attempt to generalize all those who support the war.

Yep, some warmongers have no moral issue with instantly switching from liberation, to oppression.

There is no thought process, just irrational hatred.
