i think spirograph. more colors and more designs. you have to be a f***ing engineer to make anything other than steps with an etch-a-sketch.

I have had both products. I like etch-a-sketch better. You can use your own imagination to make a picture. With Spirograph you use the gears to make the pictures. They are okay but not very imaginative.

I can never make anything look decent with an Etch-A-Sketch. Spirographs are more fun, anyways.

spirograph is way cooler! The etch-a-sketch is too limited and boxy in results. The spirograph makes way better designs and allows you to use a wide array of colors. Just my opinion though

I always liked my spirograph best. The etch-a-sketch got boring.

Spirograph, but make sure you have extra pens of different colors that will fit within the holes. I used to love making "art" when I was younger with the Spirograph! I think it gives a child more of a sense of accomplishment, if that makes sense.
