No, it shouldn't. It's your friend's cousin and as long as your intentions are pure and you treat her right, your friend should be okay with it. Realize though, that if you mistreat his cousin, you may destroy your friendship with him. As long as you treat her right and aren't dating her just because she's hot or because you want to sleep with her, your friend will probably be glad because he'll know that his cousin is in the hands of someone who truly cares for her.

Why would it, I would think that your friend would be happy for you that you picked someone from his side of the family, shows true friendship. Besides, anything you needed to know about her you can probably find from him, but don't let the dating get in the way of your friendship with him, let him know that you are still friends, don't cut him off.
