if you go the Hard Drives makes sites you will find a free software to help you reformat your drive and then just install windows again. this wil help you.

When you did your setup you chose to install the FAT32 file system instead of NTFS. The limit on FAT32 is a 2Gb partition. You will need to run the XP install again, delete the existing 2Gb partition and then create a new partition using all of the available drive space and format using NTFS. Good Luck

Hi. Some OSs will only recognize 2GB max drives. Win XP Pro using NTFS does not have this problem. Watch out for carpel tunnel problems.

format the disk using NTFS file system.....
then partition the disk and then load OS on one of the partitions.
