I'm pretty strong and can control my emotions about death.

Mainly, because I lost my mother when I was 8, my dear Poppa when I was 10. Then many more people I loved. I got use to it.

I always had my Granny to take their place.

It's when I have watched my kids and Grand kids take their wedding vows, that I lose it.

I guess the death part is easier for me to handle, because I believe in the here after and know we will all meet again.

Thanks for the question.

When I had to cancel a trip (my first time to Italy) less than 24 hours before my flight left. I was devastated due to the circumstances. I haven't been there yet, but plan to go in the future.

On my 28th birthday, when the guy I was dating was mad at me so he wasn't talking to me and I had made plans with three of my friends and they all stood me up. My family was out of town and I was all alone. My guy I was dating had promised to be there until he got mad at me. And the three girls gave unbelievable stories as to why they couldn't be there. They had been good friends. I called other friends and wasn't able to get a hold of anyone.

Either:

When my dog got hit by a truck and nearly died, (He lived!! Vet bills were like $1200 though.. LOL)
*EDIT* I am REALLY close to my dog, he's like my baby, so losing him would've been like losing a brother/sister.

OR

When my best friend Shelby & her family wasn't going to move in with my family after all.. She lives really far away.. :'(

Yes, when my parents passed over. We were so close and I nursed them both until their departing day. A very traumatic experience.
