Well lets say (and I dont know this as fact) that Bin ladin did attack us because of support of Israel, that would be his reason, but doesnt mean we should not suppor Israel. However I do believe there were other reasons for the attack and certain Arabs have used it against Israel/Jews

Backward hatred is the reason for 9/11. Our support of Israel has always made us targets of radical Islam. That's why Sirhan Sirhan murdered Robert Kennedy. OBL was also enraged that the Saudis allowed infidels on their soil (during the the liberation of Kuwait).
Their reasons for hatred never end. They just came *first* for the Jews.

Your question goes deep, friend, and could take a book to answer in detail. But the reason for what you call "this 9/11" is to celebrate the true bravery and courage of the rescue services on that day, many of whom were also killed when the towers collapsed and to remember those thousands of innocent victims who were also killed.
9/11 happened only partly because of the west's endless support for Israel. The west's double standards and double-crosses are the general causes. 9/11 happened because Muslims see their brothers and sisters in faith being slaughtered needlessly by uninvited, interfering western forces in Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon (don't forget Lebanon. Although the media is quiet about it today, innocent people lost their lives and the Lebanese are still living with the aftermath).
I do not agree with you that Israel is our friend. It is friendly while it is on the take but you notice how quickly it becomes unfrendly whenever its atrocities are called into question. American aid to Israel each year is equal to $20,000 for every man, woman and child. I think most of us would be very friendly towards such a generous donor. Palestine, by contrast, was asked to repay the American aid it had received on the election of Hamas. That's just one example of double standards and unfairness. The west calls for democracy but cries "foul" when democracy elects a party we don't like.
Iran, also a democratic country, is next on the hitlist while it remains defenceless. North Korea, undemocratic, belligerent and unpredictable, has the Bomb, but we seem to be afraid to pre-empt any attack from that country.
Sorry to take up so much space on this, but I did say your question goes deep.

The 9/11 attach was just another attach on the US. We had already been attached and bombed at embassy's around the world, but the was the first on our soil.
I think Pres Bush and others were just tired of our taking the hits and not doing anything back. I had mixed feelings about the attack on Iraq because I felt we needed to do something, and I was surprised by Bush's actions....I didn't think he had the fortitude to do anything. And Pres Bush's father did come out very well when we were in our skirmish in Iraq under his presidency. So This Bush was trying to do some save face....maybe.
And now that we have blown them back to the stone age,....we need to stay long enough to help them rebuild. Plus if we "cut and run" it will reinforce the opinion that to beat us all you have to do is wait us out....we will run eventually, because we have in the past.
But right now it is frightening about the problems, in Israel, Iraq, Iran, N. Korea, China, Pakistan, Afghanistan. We simply don't have the money and numbers to fight that many wars.
We are so far in debt now because of this war it will take years to recover....many years and if China calls in our loans, ooops......

Pretty much thats what it is when you dilute all of the chaos down. It sounds simple, but its far from it. There are too many secrets and plots that would still have us end up in this mess again. If not worst. I can only hope for the better.

regrettably his vice chairman is Biden, who's a jew and professional Israel. regrettably he helps American taxpayer money to assist the Israeli occupation. that's what Obama has performed for them. Oh btw, Israel is a "democratic" theocracy merely as their neighboring muslim worldwide places. they are merely as in all probability to hold forth nuclear armageddon merely as their fellow islamic terrorists over "holy land." It wont be so "holy" while they nuke the crap out of another. they are not so different after all. lol

no offense but I think that they should let it all go and deal with more real issues Ok with saying that It happened the day after my birthday and I wish that the families are dealing with such loss in a good way,but when people keep reminding them about that horrible day I am sure that in all honesty they wish they could erase it from the media

No, the Islamic fundamentalist don't like the western culture. They believe that if they can intimidate the US then all other nations would fall in line with their demands.

It is because some Islamics want the whole world to be of their religion, by force if necessary.
By the way, most Jews know how to spell semitic.
