I'm an introvert and I tend to speed so I don't think thats true.
My usual routine for the holidays is to spend it with my husband and close family (husband, mom, step-dad, brothers and grandma. Yes, I help out by making a dish and baking cookies and I am very talkative when I'm with my family and close friends.
I do tend to prefer smaller groups and would actually prefer one on one conversations rather than group conversations.
During the holidays its very busy and for introverts, socializing for long periods can be very draining, Maybe thats why I'm so exhausted and fall asleep early on Thanksgiving and Christmas. For extroverts, socializing gives them lots of extra energy.

I am an introvert, and I do tend to follow that speed limit. But being an introvert also makes you more thoughtful about your future... which paying big tickets and being disabled for life are not a part of my plan if I can help it!!
The holidays - ugh - I hate the holidays. Too much work (retail at the mall - you really see the greedy side of peopel right before the holidays). Too much running around and consumerism. People have lost what the true meaning is about - family - and the birth of Jesus. Our routine involves trying to find cheap gifts that people won't complain about, usually at the last minute, driving from Spokane to Everett, to Kent, to Portland, trying to make the old folks happy. I try to be talkative but mostly I am just stressed out and would rather take my precious two weeks off doing something more meaningful. I prefer smaller groups in a discussion because I hate superficial talking.

I am an introvert and I follow all the traffic laws, I have never had a ticket. I don't know if it because I am an introvert or because I don't want to have to pay a ticket, either way I follow the laws.
With the upcoming holidays I tend to be quiet and and have smaller groups i talk to rather than a whole crowd. I do help out a lot. And am talkative with the small groups I am comfortable with, but avoid attention in large groups. People often tell me they can't tell if they like the presents they give me because I smile and thank them quietly. I don't get excited or squeal or fuss over it etc.
I hope this helps.

I'm not an introvert but I tend to follow the speed limit because I've never had a ticket and don't want one!
My holidays are family affairs and I always participate in food preparation and spending the day talking to everyone. I'm comfortable with any size group while having discussions but I enjoy smaller groups, especially those with whom I share more interests.

I think being extroverted or introverted goes out the window when you are driving, especially if you are alone. Once you are surrounded by your car people tend to think they are in their own little world, so impressing or not gaining the attention of others doesn't really come into play. That's why you catch so many drivers picking their noses, they forget that they are not alone, and that the guy beside them can actually see them do this.
As for the holidays, love them, love entertaining, love being with people, but like small groups where you can share rather than be superficial.

I dont' believe an extrovert necessarily speeds. That sounds like more of a problem with self gratification or delay of gratification which isn't necessarily associated with intro or extro. I would say those terms are too general to describe such a specific behavior.
My usual holiday routine is to help out/take over. I generally run my house and the holidays is my time to shine. I do the shopping, cooking, decorating (except the outdoor lights which my husband takes care of).
I prefer family things but I like big groups of family being loud and cheerful.
This year will be different for me because I am 8 months pregnant and physically limited in all that I can handle at once. I wonder if this will cause a lot of role strain to me? That would be an interesting part of your project, to talk about how situationally changing introversion versus extroversion can affect people... maybe too complicated tho

Driving: I am an introvert person but I drive way above the speed limit, not to get attention but I have a defecient adrenaline gland and I am very impatient.
Christmas: I prefer the company of others, but only if they are family or close friends. I do however spend a lot of Christmas day hiding away playing Console Games

Extroverts need attention from everyone because they want everyone to know who they are about so they like to show off.
Introverts tend to keep to themselves and are usually private about themselves.Do you think it is possible to be a extrovert than years later become a introvert?Well, your speaking to a person who did just that!Contact me and we can talk more.
The thing about holidays,it's a time to spend with family and friends.Don't be too talkative about yourself.Try to focus on everyone else.Smaller groups are good to have more intimate and private conversations with. The bigger the group, the more you have to allow other people to speak.
Thats not a problem though, you can still enjoy yourself no matter how big or small the group is just be on your best behavior.

Introvert: I tend to go only 5 mph over the speed limit. I'm too scared of getting pulled over by a cop. If I know there are no cops around, I MAY go ten mph over, but I am usually good.
