If your name and avatar was posted next to an answer, with a reason why you gave a thumbs down, would you think twice about giving one?
Posted this here because it seems to be one of the "problems" alot of people are having recently and most discussed.

Nah hardly use thumbs down thing, unless i find it funny. And no i wouldn't think twice. What are people gonna do? Shank me with a virus?

I'm not sure. Maybe. Before giving a thumbs down though, I always give it careful consideration. For the most part I try to give a thumbs down only when the answer is mean or it seems like the wrong information is intentionally given or the the answer given is bad advice. For example if someone told someone they needed to try heroine I would give a thumbs down.

So; because someone had disagreed with one of my answers, you think I should have a right to know? Why would I need to know that? It would just serve a purpose of making us into stalkers, and That is not a good thing. I do not want to be bait for anyone nor do I want to chase others down. If yahoo is trying to eliminate users they can at least say so. I would gladly use another program like Linux . Besides; that is where the really intelligent minds hang out.
