Times have changed. There are laws in the Bible that are for all time, and laws that are purely for the culture. God did not allow his people to eat "unclean" animals because they could cause diseases by being undercooked, badly prepared, etc. We know more now, and we can prepare any meat in a clean way. The Old Testament was nailed to the cross with Jesus. I believe that women wearing pants is another thing that has changed with the culture of the time. I don't think that people who disagree with me are wrong. Subjects like this are grey areas. Honestly, they don't pertain to salvation. Jesus said, "I am THE Way, THE Truth, and THE Life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."
Wearing pants, eating pork, using instruments in church services, and the like are decisions that each must make for himself. The Bible says that if one man believes something is wrong, another person falls into sin by causing that man to stumble. Respect one another's decisions. We all have a common goal, and the important thing is knowing who Jesus is, and what God has done for us. (Loosely summed up.)
Jesus is the Way. Never cutting your hair or eating pork is not the way (It is A way, and it isn't not a wrong way). Jesus is THE way, THE Truth, and THE Life.
I'm having a little trouble saying what I mean.

I love dresses, but where I live I would freeze if I was always in a dress. There are a lot of wierd things in the bible that we don't follow. Such as, women are not allowed in the church during their monthly cycles. I believe there was also a part about women not coming to church while pregnant, that it was unclean in both situations. My religion believes that we are not to eat certain meats because of what the bible says such as pork and shellfish. But at the same time, in the times of the Bible, those meats were unclean because of how they were stored. Now adays the chances of getting sick from these meats are just as likely from the other meats. I believe that there are some parts of the Bible that were true during the time, but do not really work for our time period.

I think you are taking the Bible literally. When the Bible was written, it probably meant something different than it does today. Also, how many people in the bible wore pants? I thought all the disciples wore robes....not pants.

No. Lot's of things in the Bible are messed up. Peter said that women should wear a veil over there faces all the time.(I'm not sure the exact verse...if I find it I'll tell you). Do you know where this is in the Bible?
Wait, do you mean pants like the things over your legs, or like "wearing the pants in the family" like being in charge?

women can wear whatever they want.
on the other hand, it also depends on the church you go to.
if the whole congregation dresses like they are going to wedding or a funeral, they will expect you to as well.
if the dress code is lax, then they will dress lax as well.
although it may not be a sin to dress in what you feel like dressing in, it is frowned upon to dress down when honoring the Lord. Check the dress code in your church.
The Bible actually says, "Come as you are", so anyone upholding the dress code is the sinner.

I think that it is not true that it states that in the Bible.
No I do not think it is wrong for women to wear pants, as it is not wrong for men to wear skirts - unfashionable (or even seen as humorous) in most westernized cultures maybe - but not wrong.
