Rome. Around Caesar's time.
Because that's when the world changed. Literally. The old corrupt system was to be wiped out and a new age started. Under a truly magnificent, gifted genius. For the first time someone approached power as champion of the people. The times must've been very interesting and what would've happened, if Caesar wouldn't have been assassinated?

The neolithic or the iron age!
the noelithic would be interesting to see jusy how we started farming and developed settlement in this country! The iron age would be excellent though...theres the beginnings of a proper heirarchical society, with huge hillforts and great artefacts.
although the lack of hygenine would be a pain...maybe i would go for a day and then come home for a bubble bath :)

1880's when Britain was ruler of the world, at the cutting edge of technology
it'd be great to see how people lived and the pride felt by the achievments of the country

1970's. Or 1960's.
The music was great, things were cheap, clothes were groovy and peace and love were in fashion.
Compare this to today where the music is boring, repetitive and mass produced, things are ridiculously expensive, clothes almost define your social class; and guns, hate and war seem to be popular among teenagers.
