A story on Yahoo news caught my eye it says that Santa's in OZ have been told not to use the phrase "ho, ho, ho " because it may cause offense to women as it sounds like the Amercian word for prostitute and also children may be frightened .
I'm a women I do not feel offended what do other people think?

The world has gone too far PC, instead of using a phrase of laughter that has been around for centuries because some stupid punks can't properly pronounce whore, we decide that we should change our traditions, etc over something that is perfectly appropriate.
It is still Christmas time and I may utter a HO HO HO and it's not because I can't pronounce the word whore, I can, I just don't prefer to use that language or call someone that. PC people need to get their mind out of the gutter and use the English language as it is intended, and not mistaking it for some guttural trash that some ignorant people have come up with. The word Ho will always be a word demonstrative of laughter, the other version of the word doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned unless you can show it to me in a proper dictionary.
HO HO HO Merry Christmas

totally agree. Offence is in the ear of the listener so those women must need darn good therapists to find out why they are such hypersensitive little flowers. Santa was Ho Ho Ho ing long before anyone else and I think we should supprt him.

I am a woman and I am not offended either. This is rediculous. That saying has always been used for Santa Claus. I mean, what else could they say>

Try this on the PC brigade. Be more PC than they are it drives them nut's. It only takes about 5 minutes and they tell you to stop being ridiculous. My reply is that they started it with the rubbish they spout.

to Ron: does she comprehend it already? answer of the assistant: Sorry, we don't do curtains for MS living house windows, use Firefox rather and positioned this extinguisher(£35) next on your show in case the fox is in basic terms too warm!

Yes - way too PC.

I was watching a hockey game the other day, and the announcer referred to a black player as an "African-American." The problem is that he's from Canada, and his ancestors are not from Africa. Unfortunately, the political correctness police have brainwashed most of the population.

Why is it that the black community has created Miss BLACK America, The United NEGRO College Fund, and the NAACP (Colored People)?

"African-American" is not a valid choice because not everyone with dark skin is from Africa, and I don't know how we're supposed to know someone's ancestry from looking at them.

Other races don't demand this kind of speech code.
