My wife and I were having a debate on this. My wife is a "soft stud" or a "soft butch". She wears all men's clothing, including boxers and cologne. I told her that TECHNICALLY, she is a cross dresser as well. She's not buying it....what do you think.

Come on, help me win this argument LOL.

Okay, in all fairness, you can tell she is a woman when she goes out, she doesn't LOOK like a man, but she has on men's clothing...

If she doesn't wear a bra or does the whole bind up the boobs thing, then you win. If she does wear a bra she wins on a technicality.

See Wickey the problem you are having is that you are trying to dress your wife so that she looks just like me! Unfortunately, that just ain't gonna happen. LOL
Seriously though, if she wears mens clothing etc, then she is technically a cross dresser. If a man wears womens underwear, he's a cross dresser, so it is no different for a woman.

Usually the cross-dressing label doesn't stick for a female for some reason, but if you see a guy go out with a dress on then yep they are a cross dresser. The rules of fashion are a little more loose for a female.

I wouldn't worry about how she dresses though and just love the person you are with. Don't try to label her into a category.

Well, I suppose if it were the opposite way around a man dressing like a woman who is attracted to men would be CONSIDERED a crossdresser, too. But I don't know if you wanna stick that poor label on your girlfriend, haha! It might be a tiny bit offensive for someone who doesn't want to be a crossdresser :P But I'm sure you two will have joking about it with no harm.

Haha, good luck winning the argument! :]]

haha good luck on that one. i think technically it is cross dressing because they are mens clothes. but i personally wouldnt consider it cross dressing because she probably isnt doing it to look like a man, but because she's just comfortbale in those clothes... and you can still tell that its obviously a woman. i think its cute, i love that "chilin wit the boys" style on girls. you should have those other chicks jealous when you go out together =)

That's tricky, I know straight girls that like to wear men boxers. Some clothes are uni-sexual. She could be cross dressing if she does it because it makes her feel more masculine.

It does sound like she is technically cross-dressing, yes. But if it makes her feel better not to think it, let her have her own definition. Because, even if you win the argument, you'll eventually pay for it ;)

If she can go out in public dressed as she normally does, and pass for a man, she's a cross dresser. Otherwise, you lose.

I'd have to agree with you... In my opinion, cross-dressing is when someone dresses like the opposite sex, whether this person is gay or straight/regardless of gender. So, yep, technically, it is! ;)
