The bolts are metal, the are NOT corroded. With the type of toilet I have, the bolts do NOT come out underneath the toilet, so there is no wing nut or anything to loosen and/or hold on the other end of the bolt. They just spin in place when I try to turn them with a screwdriver. What to do?

What is a squeeze type flange?
And, re: answer to tap them through - THE BOLTS DO NOT EXIT AT BOTTOM.

Called company - duh, in my small size Kohler, the wing nuts are IN the tank. So, yes, end of metal bolts are corroded (sitting in tank water). Hack saw it is.

place a screwdriver on the head of the bolt and tap it gently with a hammer. the bolt heads are specifically made with thin heads for this purpose, as they usually do corrode and removal from the bottom tedious if not impossible. so they make them to where you can tap them out in this way. This is assuming that whoever bolted the seat used the right kind of bolts, that is.
