I want this "book" to have something to do with an 11th grader that is 16. Anything [un]educational.

I'm assuming you picked a 16 year old 11th grader because maybe that's is were you're at. So, why not fictionalize some aspect of your current experience that you feel compelled to deal with, and write about it.

Does it have to be true? How about a 16 year old who has some super power, and how they use it? Some suggestions:
invisibility
x-ray vision
photographic memory
E.S.P.
bionic hearing
bionic strengths of any sort

You could perhaps concentrate mainly with your main character dealing with the different problems and family relations that happen in a 16 year old person's life. His teenager's crisis, drugs, abuse, first love, rejection, suicide, etc... etc... etc...That should give you a lot of choices to go with.

tell about a pet that is really close to u
talk about your fav experience going to the mall or the movies
talk about your friends--a sleepover---a party---a fight
talk about your first boyfriend
talk about your hobbies and what's so great about them

once upon a time-------
there was this 16 year-old boy, who do to his brillant intelligence, surpassed all expectations and at his young age, was excepted into the 11th grade. However bright this young man seemed to be however, it caused him much grief as he had no social life.
how's that? good start?

A boy who wants to get his driver's license and get his own car. He's got his eye on a his dream car--a red '67 Corvette! Behind the mechanic's shop, it need fixing up but he's up for that.

try science-fiction...the 16 years old boy that was an alien....that's a cool story that might end up as a Steven Spielberg movie!
