For 7th grade, my friend and I recorded seismic waves. We made our own seismic graph whose instructions we got off a book. Then we tested the vibrations using three different types of balls (ping pong, tennis, and handball) dropping them each from a certain height. We observed the lines on our seismic graph made by a suspended pencil making movement off the vibrations caused by the dropped objects. It was pretty cool because each object gave a different wave. Do not do a volcanoe project it is too common you want to do something fun! I am goig to test lip gloss that I made.
