I certainly do. So may people are bashing Bush on sending troops to Iraq. But, if they were in his shoes, I would have really liked to have seen what they could have done differently. No, I do not agree with President Bush 100%, because seems like he didn't have a plan B...But, yes, I do believe he has prevented many unforseen attacks on America.

Wow there are some stupid 'anti-President Bush' yayhoos here so if I get thumbs down good for me!
Since 9/11 we have not had a terror strike. There has been MANY terror plot unfoiled across the planet.
Some dork mentioned 9/11 happening on President Bush's 'watch'...yeah OK when was the first attack on the towers? It was in the 90's and who was President in the 90's (Hint: his wifey is running for pres. now). Oh and the US Cole was attacked when...hum also in the 90's.
Some other dork mentioned that President Bush was 'behind' 9/11...come on aside from concrete evidence that 9/11 was not an 'inside' job why would anyone give President Bush that much credit? lol.

Yes we are safer right now. It should make Americans wonder why our 'enemies' want a Demo in the White House. And for ppl who talk crap about our President are either un-educated or just blinded by hate that they cannot see anything else.

No, I do not think he has prevented anything. That there have been no more attacks is just blind luck so far. Terrorists will attack whenever they please.

Besides i am not so sure he is not somehow responsible for the attacks in the first place.

As for protecting us.. there were no terrorists in Iraq until he attacked there... He should have gone into Afghanistan and got bin laden and finished it.. but for some strange reason, and his families close ties with the bin Laden family.. he did not... you have to wonder.

Don't paint him as any hero to me.. or about 80 percent of the population if polls can be believed.

No, 9-11 happened on Bush's watch.

So did other terrorist attacks since 9-11, including the Anthrax Mailer (Still Unsolved), the DC Sniper and the Ohio Sniper.

HE is the one who helped attack on 9/11. Your brainwashed thinking he is preventing future attacks, that people who live in dirt huts w/ small firearms and homemade suicide bombs can actually destroy the USA. The almost 1 trillion dollars going to the war on terrors, do you think that money is actually being "spent" and expended to protect the USA? The actual cost is a tiny fraction of it, and the 10,000% inflated charges for every mundane piece of equipment and service goes into their pocketbooks. You don't actually think this war on terror all the money and contracts are going to neutral company's who have no ties to the US government do you?

Yes. And I also think that duct-taping all of the windows in my house will keep out the noxious fumes from chemical weapons that the Evil Muslim Terrorists will drop over my quiet suburban hometown.

I agree, if we get a Democrat in the Whitehouse, I doubt if we'll be as safe.

Not him personally, but his administration has. Of course about half of the dems running last time could have done as well on this front. (Not the leading lefties though.)
