THE HOUSING MARKET HAS BEEN CORRUPTED_QWE KNOW THAT>>>but the underlying problem is that people are losing their ability to earn and this administration is hiding that fact...or they don't know it...because there is no talent in the whitehouse today and all American men ain't standing up-and all politicians in D,C.are more afraid of Cheney and Bush than they are the American people.

It's pretty hard to blame the president for this. There is so much hate on the left that it has clouded the oppositions thinking. The choice we are all going to have to make is between national security and whatever else. Unfortunately there is a segment of the world who want the USA to be no more. Equally unfortunate is that the left fails to understand. WE were attacked on 9/11. There was nothing we did that caused it. I will be the first to admit that some mistakes were made in the Iraq war. However, I believe we will win that war if folks like you will let us. Really, you need to stop the hate. I makes you look ugly on the inside.

Not everyone gets suckered by the B/C Administration P.R.
Only bar room cronies are impressed by boisterous bull ****.' but, when you have limited access to reason and are absent the benefit of experience, one can hardly blame the unwashed and unlearned for supporting the right wing Nationalist Socialist agenda.
Thanks

Do your research my friend. Housing market fell because of people trying to rape the system and it back fired. I purchased a house a couple of years ago and got a low intrest rate (Fixed). I could have saved 1% at the time with a variable intrest rate, but I looked at the past and future of intrest rate and now I see I made an excellent choice. I am a Bush supporter, but I do not agree with everything this administration has done. Oil prices for one since they were mentioned. Educate yourself before your start calling people suckers! Now I do have to admit that 4% vs 5% loan was tempting when you are looking a a several thousand dollar savings if it would have continued.

They don't... the approval ratings of this administration has been around 23-30% for the last two years... so I wouldn't say that the American people are suckered, far from it.

It's more like propaganda.

The papers run it because they want to get paid.

People believe it because they have gone through our school system and are ignorant and unimaginative and are unable to form their own opinions.

And this is certainly not a new idea. Hitler did it during World War II. They made up fake stories, backed with photos just to garner sympathy with the people. It's cheap, it's pathetic and it will always work!

I can see through most of what they do but many people (the younger generations) can't. Not that it matters. What can we do anyway?

Stopped earning... ?

Would there not be massive unemployment then ? 4.7% - not bad at all. People are making money.

If its NOT due to unemployment, then it must be due to a lack of responsibility among the buyers. People who have never owned a home before, who have had poor or little credit are buying homes normally out of there reach with loans designed by lenders, with the purpose of taking advantage of these people. They signed the dotted line. They took on the loan. Why is that Bush's fault ? They should have understood just what they signed for.

To me, this is a bank problem. They are not in the business to help people anymore. They pray on the uninformed.

I haven't been suckered even when they were popular. This administration gets an A plus AND a smiley face when it comes to whipping the southern rednecks into a frenzy.

Bush and his group have never fooled me... right from the get go when he stole an election I expected nothing more than the crookedness that his administration has given us.

I hope people will be more careful next time.

2007-11-17 06:06:55 · answer #9 · answered by Debra H 7 · 2 1

wrong. because people could not afford the home in the first place. Then after being conned into buying they could not keep up the payments. Then the loans were called in. People are working more now than ever. In texas we don't have that problem like in california. The economy here is good and if you want to work its here.
