Make a list of your male family relatives (or even your closest friends). Is there one there you would like to honor by using the same name? Someone you would want your son to emulate?

Avoid the cutesy names and wild misspelling that are all too common today. They cause nothing but misery for the kid as they grow up. they will use a nickname or some other shortened version to avoid a name they dislike.

Congratulations. Also, I respect the idea of not knowing what it will be; life needs wonderful surprises now and then; we don't need to pre-plan every step of our lives.

I liked the name Harrison David when I was pregnant with my daughter.
Name really has to fit with your tastes and even with your sirname!
When you do decide on a name, google it, and see if anything odd comes up!
I read about a family in the paper who named their child Drew and their sirname was Peacock.
Drew Peacock...... soon enough people were calling them Droopys parents!!!

Naming baby boys after their grandfather is a common done thing huh?
Best of luck with your pregnancy and baby! Being a parent is the best thing in the world!!!

I don't really like the more exotic names for boys. But I do like them on girls.
