The American politicians have worked the greatest con of all on their own people.
Americans believe they have opportunity when their class system is at least the equal of the UK and India. They believe they live in a democracy when their political system has been bought and paid for for decades...and they believe their military is the best in the world. It is huge, and well equipped, but it is almost entirely incompetent.
Basically...the American dream is an illusion. A big fat insular illusion.

Because it is the best of a bad bunch- why do black people love coming from the US? Because in any Muslim country they are treated like it was before the Civil War(Insurgents would only go an d fight if they knew they could kill black soldiers) The only people who complain about America are Muslims - understand that the world is a better place because of America-the way you can hate it is due to the fact that democracy( no matter how jaded and one sided) works- try asking your question in Iran or any other camel f*cka c*ntry.

your mistake is believing that there is actually such a thing as democracy!!! why do you believe that britain or france or any other country is a democratic state??? there is always prejudice within a country and i will tell you who is the worse,
Britain is the very worst for any form of hypocracy!!! if they are so determined to "free" those who are being invaded and those who are oppressed and those who are discriminated against then why do they still impose their laws and powers on countries that were never theirs!?! if britain is so rightious and if the empire was so great then why did they plunder rape and pillage??? they were nothing more than pirates! and they still are because they will not return to the celts what is rightfully theirs!!!
also the biggotry within britain is not institutional! it is CONSTITUTIONAL!!! biggotry is written into your law system! refusing to allow a catholic to marry a royal or exceed to the throne!!!
and i bet you never knew that the catholic irish in northern ireland never got the same rights to vote as the protestants until after the black people did!!! so before you look at another's pond take a look closer to home! we aint so rosy!!!

The USA, despite repeated shoutings from the White House roof-tops about "enforcing" world democracy, is not a true democracy itself in my humble view.
Nor even a true Republic

I don't think anyone is forced to stay in America regardless of color. The want ads are the 3rd biggest part of the newspaper. I have health benefits that cost about as much as the price of Internet service and a cell phone and a couple of stupid ring tones. What ever floats your boat. I picked health Insurance and I do work too. But I don't work to pay for Mr. and Mrs. lazies benefits.

blacks do not get treated as a second class citizen. They get treated based on their actions. Get a job you won't need welfare, it's overly abused anyway. Get a job and you will get healthcare. Problems solved. Now get off of the computer and GET A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
