Is there a reason?

My mom was an angel on earth, and died of cancer at a very young age. My father is living the high life with his wife who is 20 years younger than he is, and he couldn't care less about his children.
I hate to say this, but the wrong parent died.

I get along OK with both of them....I would say I have always been closer to my father, though....I have never been quite sure why! It may have something to do with the fact that my mother has always been around more than my father....he is a very hard worker and it is always good to see him when he is around! Plus, I think maybe my mother and I share certain personality traits which make it a little more difficult for us to always get along.

No. But we do have bumps in the road. I feel really bad for people who don't have good relationships. Having family there has helped me thru some really bad times.

My dad and I are 2 peas in a pod. My mother is condescending and judgmental and likes to make me feel bad about who I am. She has played many a mind game with me over the years. B*tch.

I don't really care to have a good relationship with my parents.My mom works overseas sometimes and my dad's social life to him is more important.I don't give a **** as long as I have clothes and shoes to wear,a house to live in and money to spend

I haven't talked to my Dad in over 2 years and my Mom and I aren't on the greatest of terms.

My father. because he had a Drinking problem at one time and now he has so much anger in him that he is so hard to get along with ..

My Papi past away 7 years ago and I hate my mother right now.
We don't see eye to eye and she's to stupid to try and understand me and she will never be satisfied until I do what she wants and I WILL NEVER do it!!!

yes with both..... there is a valid reason and i find it hard coming to terms with the answer so i better keep it to myself.
