Maybe keep saying what you say but try adding a bit of attitude to your answer. Be more sassy. I don't mean insult people or anything like that. Man it up a little bit........ha ahaha
I'm sure it is frustrating. What I usually do is wait until the questions that don't get voted on go into undecided so that usually all it takes is just my vote to win it. Yes, it's perfectly okay to pick your own answer for BA. I hate having unresolved questions so I'll go back 30 pages to make sure I don't have any.

I know! I answer the question to the best of my knowledge and kindly but people seem to have better answers than me lol. Just remember it's helping people on Yahoo! Answers is the most important thing, not getting 10 imaginary points. Have a great day!

yeah, it's kind of annoying, but I have just learned to ignore it. I always seem to get best answers on the questions I didn't think I gave the best answer to, and then the ones I gave good answers to, I don't get best answers.

Hey,
you do what you can- with or without "best answers" that doesn't mean they weren't helpful to people in need of your point of view. Besides keep in mind 3% is also 3% more than other people.

Well, answer questions that only have a few answers. I only go on P&S to answer misc. questions, not to get best answers.

they will choose whatever they agree with. It may be the best answer. Just not theirs.
