I mean, not merely,say, the words in a word document, but all the details, including colour.

Take a screen shot and pop it into Paint and print from there??

Don't do Ctrl and P simultaneously, as that will only print off the content. If you want everything including the task bar etc, then follow these instructions:

You need to do a screen shot/screen dump.

To do this, press the PrtSc button, which should be in the top right hand corner of your keyboard.

Depending on the type of keyboard you have, you might have to also press ctrl, shift, or fn to get it to work (on my laptop, there's a button that says Fn in blue, and on some buttons there are alternate functions written in blue, and I have to press the Fn button to get that function).

Then open a new Word or Paint document, press paste, and print.

2 buttons to the left of delete button you should have a button named PrtSc.click that with the shift button,the one you click for capital letters.I think that should do it
