Lately I've had to do some manufacturing plant audits, etc. I have my Master's degree, etc. and have worked/studied so hard to get where I am. I'm working hard on not trying to be judgmental, but it's so hard... I walk around those places often looking down on people and thinking what scum of the earth they are... I know they look at me weird too... Do you think they're thinking, "yeah... she probably thinks she's way better than us since she's educated, etc....." I am always courteous with those people though; I would never let them know I feel this way...
I just don't know why anyone would do that kind of work. Besides being a lot of physical, manual labor, they are jobs that make people look like losers... I know I, for one, worked very very hard so that nobody would be able to say that I wasted all the opportunities available to me and also to make my parents proud. Thanks!

Everyone doesn't have our advantages. Some people have to go to work to help support the family, some people don't have the intelligence to move onto higher education, some people don't have the money, some people just don't have the desire. We have a tendency to look down on the unskilled laborers of our country but we actually owe them a debt of gratitude. Without them, capitalism wouldn't work.
Education and intelligence are not synonymous.

I can't believe you said this: "I walk around those places often looking down on people and thinking what scum of the earth they are..." Just because people don't have a formal education or don't have careers where they have to wear a suit doesn't make them scum of the earth. Two of the smartest, most compassionate minds I've ever known were factory workers and they "cleaned up" just fine when they weren't working.
I'm a college graduate and I would never think of looking down on a whole class of people like you are doing. They are individuals with various reasons for being where they are. Some may not have had the same opportunities that you had. I also know some factory workers who use working in a factory as a way to help them pay their way through college later on. Some are college or high school drop outs who had to leave to support a family. Some are people who have learning disabilities that makes it hard for them to study. Some just plain don't want to live in a phony world where people like you judge others by what they wear and not by their characters.

If it weren't for all those scum/losers, there would be no need for you to go there and work. Not everyone has an opportunity at all. Some people have no support system to even attempt to go to school, not matter how intelligent they may be. I find it shocking that a woman of color would discriminate and stereotype. People don't go to college for lots of good and bad reasons. You are mean. I think they should be admired for going and doing a difficult job every day. Some folks are lazy and stay home.
My ex-hus works in a plant. He's an electrician who went to a Technical college (I read your opinion on tech schools.) He has $100,000 in the stock market, owns 2 vehicles, 12 acres, his home and all the "toys" a guy his age would ever want. He goes in there to be productive and build his 401K. I guess he's one of those "losers" you look down on. Whatever.
Good luck with that.

nicely the place i stay, it extremely is nearly a rule. each and every of our instructors are meant to furnish us a definite quantity of homework, so it totals to around 4 hours a evening. yet, i'm 15 and in ninth grade. that's plenty ridiculous for an 11 12 months previous! i'd actual have a convention with the teachers. she could in basic terms be getting around 2 hours a evening, if that.

I could go on and on about this, but I will get to the few points I have.
1) All people are different and want/need different things.
2)All people are needed in every job field, fast food and poop scoopers workers to politicians and celebrities.
3) You sound like a very shallow, ignorant person.
4) A person is measured by their kindness. You fail....loser.
5) I think you are a troll. No real person mentions their accomplishments in every question the answer.

Here's a nonjudgemental answer.
Some people aren't blessed with what we consider a "normal" brain. There are several learning disorders from ADHD to difficulties translating ideas to paper. Although people aflicted with these disorders may be brilliant, it doesn't shine through in an academic environment.
Next time you are in a factory, consider this: At least one person in here is probably more intellegent than you.

Don't qualify for college
Can't afford college
No interest in going to college
Can make more money by learning a trade (plumber, carpenter, etc.)
People who don't go to college also have "real" jobs. Don't be such an elitist. ;)

I`d rather go jobless than work in a fcukin plant. & it has nothing to do with studies or anything. I just hate helping others getting rich. Factories are tailored to consumersocietys created needs. B.t.w I think you`re a piece of hypocrite **** too.
