I spend too much time on Yahoo!Answers, which should be obvious by my points.
I've been doing freelance proofreading when I take breaks.
I watch lots of movies, to which I'm addicted!
I stay up far too late (5 a.m. at times!) so that Precious can stay in the house. She's our 5-year-old female, and she had become nearly feral after we added a kitten to the pride. She's definitely our little diva! Thank goodness she's nearly back to normal~as normal as The Empress Precious Pye can get.

I think you are on to something..... our minds are becoming overstimulated by excess information.
Our minds normally process that day's "stimuli" that day's input, if you will, whilst we slumber, in order to better prepare us for the next day.
But!
With the Internet and all the media bombardment and too much TV, our minds are overloaded. And six to eight hours is no longer an adequate enough time for our brains to correctly sort it all out. And some don't even sleep that long. And many have interrupted sleep.
We think more clearly from day-to-day if we have our normal, uninterrupted eight hour deep re-energizing deep, dream-filled, REM sleep (or something like that.) Right?
So, if a majority of us are experiencing variations of not-so-good sleep, then think about this:
So many of us drive aggressively, cheat in every way imaginable (on our spouses, loafing at work, give wrong change/keep wrong change at cash registers, argue with family members, fall prey to greed and the lottery, flirt and try to get phone numbers when it's wrong to, all that stuff!!!
So, maybe we are just tired and weak and confused from sleep-deprivation?!
Let's get some sleep! Especially with the holidays a few days and weeks away!
Then we can go back to being scoundrels next year!

You too? I don't know. I work hard in the day, relax at night, run, eat healthy, love my man, don't have money problems although I certainly could use more of it. I haven't a clue what is keeping me up till all hours. When is the full moon? Are my contacts and I connected that way? HELP for both of us.

Darlin' when you find out, would you please let me know? I'm going a little sleep-deprived-crazy here!!

My hubby, he stays on the computer just finding new desktops & designs for hours.
I try to sleep, but to no avail... he just does not understand why I cannot sleep w/o him in the bed... lol
