The most important thing in life is just that: living. Its a privilege and we should take full advantage of it. We should live life to the fullest and not stress over petty stuff that gets in the way.

The most important in life is that there is a flow and if there are obstacles and life seems to be stuck, that this is seen in a positive way and as a challenge and a transition. Then one can see and be aware of that life gives all what is needed to grow and to overcome personal limitations, that one can enjoy life and oneself fully and find happiness.

that depends on perspective; religious people will say God or being saved by Jesus or accepting Allah or Jehovah or whatever. and so on.
i'd have to say that the most important thing in life is discovering the most important thing in YOUR life, whether it be the point (if there is one) for your existence, whether or not there iS a higher power and afterlife, whether people are really good at heart, etc. as the well-worn saying says: "What matters in life is not the destination, but the journey to it."
