How about the invasion of Iraq to enforce a United Nations resolution and that Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein “chose war” by barring U.N. weapons inspectors??

The one where he told an audience of people he saw the first plane crash into the WTC on tv, but there was no broadcast of the plane crash that day. He lied.

For too long, many nations, including my own, tolerated, even excused, oppression in the Middle East in the name of stability. Oppression became common, but stability never arrived. We must take a different approach. We must help the reformers of the Middle East as they work for freedom, and strive to build a community of peaceful, democratic nations.
George W. Bush, Speech to UN General Assembly, September 21, 2004 because the hypocrisy if you compare it with his actions show the moral bankruptcy of American foreign policy.

I don't but I'm certain I lost any bit of respect that I've ever had, which wasn't much...when he said to the public, something to the effect "They didn't know the levees would break" and I don't really remember what f**king lame excuse he gave to not provide aid for those in Hurricane Katrina for like 5 days....How in the world can people still agree with this moron president.

"They hate us for our freedom."

The idea that terrorists are attacking us simply for our relative freedom is just laughable. I guess the overthrow over a democratically-elected gov't (Iran in the 50s) along with the support of oppresive military regimes (Pakistan's Musharraf) and crooked royals (Saudi Kingdom) did not seem to cross the mind of Dumbya.

Oh and let's not forget the phony "compassionate conservatism" charade Bush used back in 2000. Yes, he showed his "compassion" by invading other countries resulting in needless, countless deaths.

You mean this lie?

"It is the duty of any president, in the final analysis, to defend this nation and dispel the security threat. Saddam Hussein has brought military action upon himself by refusing for 12 years to comply with the mandates of the United Nations. The brave and capable men and women of our armed forces and those who are with us will quickly, I know, remove him once and for all as a threat to his neighbors, to the world, and to his own people, and I support their doing so." "Before 9/11 many thought Sadaam Hussein could be contained."

That was the $1.9 trillion dollar fib right there. Hard to top that one...

That's a good one, and right behind it is "I'm a uniter, not a divider".

I'm still trying to figure out what his "Prosperity With A Purpose" slogan meant. I know he doesn't know and Andy Card's not here to bloviate about it.

Which bush? Let's do ONE lie for each of them for the sake of brevity:
bush 43: That he doesn't believe in interfering with other countries nor does he believe in nation building!
Here he is saying it right before he was elected:

I still like the Dec. 18 2006 Press Confrence. When he said, "I lie to the press to get them to stop asking me questions."

So was he lying to the press about lying or ...???

When he said he didn't wiretap Americans without a warrant. "Now, by the way, any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires -- a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so.”
