I am up to date with the payments and have never missed a payment. Today I recieved a Bailliff's letter claiming the whole original amount. Fees for the letter have been added and the letter threatens to add on huge costs if the Bailliff's have to come out to enforce it.

I have proof that there is an agreement with the CSA for me to pay a set amount by standing order and I have bank statements showing that the money has been paid to the CSA every month as per the agreement.

I cannot afford a solicitor. I am very worried about all these extra charges that the Bailliffs are adding. What do I do?

Don't worry, write to the CSA and point out their error, enclose a copy of the agreement and perhaps a few copy bank statements with the relevant payments highlighted. It is most likely that the computer has kicked off this action in error, or their record keeping is so bad that your account is not being credited with the payments. Very much doubt it will go to Court and if it does you can represent yourself and the CSA will end up looking very stupid

Citizens advice but send a copy of everything to CS by registered post and ordinary post so the clowns can have twp opportunities to lose it. Also contact he Bailiff they often take a very reasonable line in cases such as this and will report back to CSA Citizens advice may do this for you. With respect do not mess about
