I know I have been on here before with the same type of question but I really need help with this one. To be honest, I now it's gross but I know he hasn't since at least Sept. Believe me, I know that's correct because I know how he leaves the bathroom when he's done. (meaning the location of things by the tub; body wash; ect.) Anyways, it really bothers me and makes me feel as if I am not good enough to "clean up" for. He also rarely brushes his teeth and of course his hair is full of dandruff. I mention it to him and he gets mad and no, I do not nag. It been forever since i have said something. His excuse this time was: "I feel like i don't have time b/c of all the running around I have to do" My respond: "I do just as much running around b/c you expect me to go with you all the time and you can't take out 5 min every other night for a shower?"

*I bathe regularly. He does not have medical problems either so it's not like he can't get in the tub or anything. I also offer to buy him some other type of hair shampoo, conditioner and possibly another body wash to make it more pleasurable for him but he says he's fine with what we have.

Oh and we have a TON of nice fluffy towels that are his and my favorite kind and I try to get him to use them b/c they are soo soo nice and yes we have no sex) It's pretty much gone. He won't even try to help keep the spice alive anyway I would like him to take a should and cozy up with me and everything but he wont.

well, i dont know if i could handle that and i know i would not be sleeping in the same bed with him. i would say if it bothers you that much just change what you do, if hes not going to change what he does.

It sounds like he is not happy in the relationship and doesn't care what you think anymore. ask him if he wants a divorce and tell him that you can not live that way any more and he will either realize that he is affecting your relationship and want to change or want the divorce and then you can find someone who loves you enough to want to be better for you.
If it is his sense of self esteem, I will give you a site for him to look at for that as well but as long as you put up with him not bathing and the like, he will continue to do that so you need to shake him him by making him look at the self esteem site, getting counseling with you to find out why he does not care to keep you happy, or the divorce. I would really be concerned that he is depressed. Usually people do not do that. Maybe make it fun and ask him to shower or bath w/ u. I would be disappointed also. Not like u can make him like a lil kid. Try creative ways to get him in there. Plus maybe u have to say things like, u stink.... just shower!!!! But I am sure he would not like that. But u don't like him not bathing. Just really sit down and get some answers!

Oh yuck! Is your husband depressed?? There are no excuses for not taking the time to take care of ones personal hygiene....Do you make him sleep outside? I would if my husband didn't want to bathe...no way in hell would he be climbing into bed with me if he didn't want to take a shower and brush his teeth...

Wow! Maybe he is not keeping clean to somehow avoid having sex? Sounds like he is not trying to be close to you - maybe he is deliberately pushing you away?
How is your communication aside from the topic of his hygiene and sex? Do you guys talk freely about other things?

Personally, I shower or bathe daily... Have you ever considered he may be going through some depression? Why don't you speak with him... That is gross and I do empathize with you... Good luck and God bless****
