Stare: gaze fixedly with eyes wide open

Rates: The amount charged by the local council or water authority to provide services to a property.

Aster: radiating formation of microtubules at each pole of a spindle apparatus, formed during mitosis; comes from word meaning "star."
A small-bloomed flower, similar in look to a daisy, asters are usually available in white, pink, rose and purple.

Tares: a species of rye-grass
Any of various weedy plants of the genus Vicia, especially the common vetch.
An unwelcome or objectional element.

Taser: a small gunlike device that fires electric darts to incapacitate a person temporarily. (trademark)
