the commercials are paid for and so is the tv.......and the only losers are us, the consumers....in a half hour show, ten mins are commercials after paying at least 30 bucks a month for the privilage of watching them.

$30 a month! You're getting off easy! I am paying $93.98 for digital cable and a DVR. I can remember when cable first came out and when we balked at paying $15 or so a month, we were told that it would come down after all of the cable was laid -- still waiting.

Why? Because sponsers need us to buy their stuff to help pay the inflated salaries out to all TV folks is why.
