I'm a recent Republican cross over and I feel the whole Republican party is at a critical cross road, in it's very existence.

70% of Americans oppose the wars.

Last November the Democrats got control of congress by promising to end the wars quickly.
They haven't done it!!!

Whoever gets this huge {70%} percentage of voters is going to be our next president.

Ron Paul is the only candidate that publically stated he would "START" to withdraw troops, as soon as he takes office.
He would be the Commander & Chief if elected President and could very well keep this pre-election promise.

We need not only Republicans, but a huge outcry from those 70%, no matter what party affiliation they might or might not have.

But First, "We the People" have to get Ron Paul nominated so he can be on the official ballots in all 50 states.....

Therefore I sincerely URGE all Americans of voting age to look up the requirements in your state, on voting for Ron Paul in the "PRIMARY" elections.

Of course he would how could he notr. Paul's only problem right now is getting the nomination i guarantee if he gets that he WILL be president.

To the above poster you obviously have no idea about Paul's support it extends far more than a few websites. Theres a reason he is winning straw polls and pulling in so much money. You do realize you can only donate a certin amount it takes MANY people to donate 4 million dollars in a day and this is the second time he has raised that much. Before you criticize look into it Paul is doing wonderful.

I also have a feeling that interior the 2010, and interior the 2012 elections, greater beneficial than ever....many American human beings will vote interior the right human beings. by way of internet, further and further human beings are getting to grasp the fact, and that they're going to in straightforward terms vote in people who upward thrust up for the form and hearth actual everyone else. and then.. we are able to get our united states of america returned!! i've got not been on yahoo solutions for a protracted time, and that i'm quite pleasantly shocked to be sure how many human beings are actually conscious. needless to say the 'cyber web; alongside with UTUBE, and cellular telephones with video cameras exchange into no longer area of the plan of the NWO. greater human beings are starting to be their "authentic information' from the internet and making their very own smart conclusions. I even believe interior the yank human beings.Years in the past, i presumed those conspiricy theorists have been loopy. yet... now i might like them to be shown incorrect. all of us must be brave and stand jointly. we are able to be power in numbers.

Yes, but we will not get behind him because he has no foreign policy expertise.

Yes he has some terrific notions on being fiscally conservative, but he is an extremist.

That will not get him wide support from the GOP.

He has it here on YA, but that is it. I am happy for all of you top contributors who get to live in the lime-light on YA, but in the real world, your man will not make it on the Republican Ticket.

It is a shame that Ron Paul has become a distraction for so many good people. He is a good man and a good congressman. But he is not a serious Presidential Candidate. I wonder what his supporters will ultimately do when he withdraws from the election.

To write him in is a waste of a vote and they are smart enough to know that. To not vote is also a waste and to vote democratic is to vote for higher spending, not a traditional Republican value.

So it comes down to one issue, the war? What will his supporters do?

Yes, in fact he is their only chance. Plain and simple if Paul gets the nomination the Republicans will get my vote. If not I will vote against the Republicans.

The rank & file "republican voter has NOT figured it out yet that the republican & democrat party are now ONE entity, hence forth the following title...THE republoCRATIC party. Folks just got to plain & simple vote for the best qualified candidate to fit their ideology. I mean we gotta be truthful here Benni. Rudy "little Mussolini" Giuliani is more liberal than even comrade Clinton!!!
If people are serious about their constitutionally guaranteed freedoms they would vote for Ron Paul, regardless of party bias.

Unfortunately, your question is moot because the "big business" (money) party simply refuses to back this man. He barely gets mentioned on the news channels and if anyone was going to mention him you would think it would be Fox News. Watch Fox News and see how many times they mention him in a 24 hour period. It should be obvious to everyone that Guiliani is their man and you know how much money Rupert Murdoch has. I like a man who stands his ground on his ideas whether I totally agree with him or not.

Yes. But the neocons have hijacked the Republican party and kicked the conservatives out. Ron Paul is one of dying breed - an American conservative who doesn't believe in spending money you don't have like the current Republicans.

Ron Paul is not part of the GOP establishment, therefore he hasn't got a snowball's chance in hell of winning the Republican nomination.
The best shot Ron Paul has at winning the Presidency would be to run as an independent - and choose Mike Gravel as his running mate. These are two free-thinking, independent candidates with a lot of good ideas and no diehard party loyalties. -RKO- 11/17/07

Paul is the only GOP candidate that is opposed to the war in Iraq, I believe that he has the best shot at winning the general election..

It's unfortunate that people are so uninformed.. Paul does not want to abolish the FBI/CIA, there are over 100 different intelligence gathering agencies. He wants to end the bureaucracy and consolidate.. not abolish them.. this actually strengthens our central intelligence by gathering intelligence and making it more effective
