i did appeal it. it makes no sense. how is that offensive? i didn't bash either side! meanwhile, we have dozens of questions up that are very offensive.

you know what really bigs me? kate lomax just posted a question that i can't see because i'm blocked by her for some ridiculous reason, and i can tell by the heading that it probably has something to do with my question. i would just like to ask her why i'm blocked! trolls on here make some of us too careful about who we let view our q&a and they go around blocking everyone they don't know. for the record, i've never even answered a question of hers.

That is definately something that you can fight. Reportniks really just violate people who they don't like. Usually they violate Q&As that are out of the guidelines so you are stuck but sometimes they just violate anything of someone they don't like.

And the trolls in here with all of their accounts have been targeting feminists with abusive reporting and trying to get our accounts removed. It's just very petty and stupid but what can you expect from lowlifes with no lives?.

p.s. I just closed my Q&As too but I got violated on a question I answered in Womens Health about using tampons! *rolling my eyes*

All I can say to that troll is "B- Pleasse!"

I tried to appeal a violation last week and some guy called Eric from Y!A and I emailed each other about 10 times. All he did is keep sending me form letters with links to the guidelines. I don't even think they read the stuff. They get a report from a 'trusted user' and they delete it. No questions asked. Appeal it and maybe report the user that reported you. I suspect that it is the same person a few persons who are doing all of these unwarranted reports. He/She has become trusted so we must find a way to make them untrusted.

Appeal it. There are some immature people who violate those that disagree.

There are lots of offensive questions. That wasn't.

Have you seen the ads on here that say yahoo personnel are going to do a 'meet up' 11/30 near DC? If you are close then wander over and ask them in person. I think I may.

I got violated on an answer I gave to somebody who answered THIS question the other day- he disputed it and I responded then I presume he couldn't counter so he sent a violation.

I think violations should be for name calling and extreme vulgarity.

I have had a several of the boys that post on here flag my questions and answers as well. I just block them and as another person suggested make your answers and questions private.
I have been targetted by the more malicious anti feminists as well. They don't like anyone that can prove their fallacious arguments wrong.
I know when they start that they feel emasculated or challenged and I look at it as a victory. Just another way for them to try and gain power over another because they likely don't have a lot in their own real, lives.
Just keep posting.

It wasn't offensive. Try making your questions or answers private. Someone doesn't like your opinion and will now stalk and harass you until they get you deleted. That is common among the rampant anti feminists. They also like the old thumbs down as if that really bothers anyone.
Just ignore, appeal and repost your question.
I think it was a great question.

I think you should appeal it. I hope Yahoo keep a record of people who complain about others' questions & answers, and get rid of the people who are clearly too damn precious to hold a conversation with adults without complaining about being offended.

Edit
Oh dear. Just got my first block...

Some stupid person probably got offended because they may ASSume you're talking about *gasp* lesbianism. And if you are, who cares? People today are so ignorant and ASSbackwords that it is disgusting. Appeal it and stick it to the man!

good luck!

People on this forum are overly emotional and trigger happy with the report button.

Why? It makes them feel powerful. They can't say anything logical to answer your question.. so they report it to feel better.

Its sad really...
