Montreal has an exciting young team full of developing talent.
Detroit a little aged though supreme in experience, which is the only thing missing with Montreal. Montreal is looking good and will give Detroit a run for their money anyday.

Does no-one to boot Detroit followers understand what number Wings are out with injuries? previous to as we talk's game, the Wings had 9 regulars out. Helm returned as we talk, yet 8 regs are nonetheless out. they are enjoying without Henrik Zetterberg, Johan Franzen, Niklas Kronwall, Valtteri Filppula, Jason Williams, Dan Cleary, Jonathan Ericsson, and Andreas Lilja. i do no longer anticipate Lilja to play yet another NHL game(placed up-concussion indications). and that they performed the final 2 months and the Playoffs final year, and this finished season without him, so i do no longer anticipate him to play with the Wings returned, or the NHL. once you're taking that under consideration, you may say Montreal. in case you mentioned to everyone the Wings are going to have seven regulars out by potential of mid-December inclusive of Zetterberg and Franzen, you will possibly think of they could be decrease than .500. a minimum of, no longer in a playoff spot, and yet they are nonetheless in 8th place interior the West. 5 of those gamers would be returned over the subsequent month. Kronwall nonetheless has a month and a 0.5, and Franzen should not be returned till March a million.

At this point in time, Detroit's talent is so much more than Montreal, I don't think they are on the same page.
Nobody on Montreal is anywhere near as talented as Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Lidstrom.
Personally (NHL Central Scouting rankings aside) I give Montrealk an edge in goaltending as I would choose Huet over Hasek and Osgood in a big game situation.
But outside of the net, it would be Red Wings all over the ice.

Red Wings for sure, the only player that Montreal has that comes close to any talent the wings have is kovalev. Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Lidstrom, Rafalski, etc.
